FAQ — portal guide

A practical map of the platform: sections, purchases, learning, live events and legal links. For binding terms always read the Legal pages.

This FAQ is the editorial overview of the whole portal. Whenever we ship a major navigation, checkout or account change, we update these answers and the review date (see the hint at the bottom for editors).

What is mysteries.love?
Mysteries of Love (mysteries.love) is a web platform for adults that bundles intimacy and relationship education: structured video programmes, a curated boutique, one-to-one expert consultations, scheduled live Q&A sessions, free introductory downloads in the Free materials area, and long-form posts on the Blog. The operator is Center for the Development of Intimate Relationships s.r.o., Czech Republic — registry details and contacts are on the Legal page. Everything here is educational wellbeing content. It does not replace medical care, psychotherapy or legal counsel.
Who can use the platform?
Catalogues, purchases and intimate-education content are strictly 18+. Where the site asks you to confirm age or eligibility, answer honestly. Use one account per person, keep your password private, and do not share paid materials outside what the Terms allow.
Which languages does the site support?
The storefront, navigation and help texts are localized in four languages: English, Russian, German and Spanish. URLs use a locale prefix (/en, /ru, /de, /es) and you can switch language from the header. Each course, video or PDF is produced in the language stated on its product page. Some lessons also have dubbed audio and subtitles in other languages — the exact coverage depends on the programme, so check the description before buying.
What lives where on the portal?

How do I buy and open a course?
Open Courses in the header, choose a programme and complete checkout. Payments run through our payment provider (typically Stripe) with card or other methods shown at purchase time. After payment, go to Account → My courses and open the programme. Lesson streaming, previews (if enabled) and access duration are described on the course page.
How do lessons, progress, notes and bookmarks work?
Inside a course you move through structured lessons in the learning area. Progress is saved where the course supports it. When enabled for a lesson, personal notes and bookmarks are stored in your account under My notes and My bookmarks so you can return to important moments.
How do programmes differ from courses?
A course is video material you work through on your own. A programme is guided work with a curator: the content is split into days, and a paid number of one-to-one sessions comes with it. After payment the programme appears in your account under “My programmes”, with day 1 open immediately. Your curator opens the following days as you progress. The meeting for each day is booked in order from the curator’s free slots and spends one session. Cancelling more than 24 hours before the meeting returns the session to your balance; cancelling later does not. The join button becomes active 15 minutes before the start. This rule is about the session inside the programme, not about a refund of money: monetary refunds are governed by the Terms — write to info@harmonyoflife.eu with your order ID.
What are the tests, and what happens to my answers?
The Tests section holds psychological questionnaires about personality, emotions, stress, self-esteem and relationships. Taking them is free. Some questionnaires touch on intimacy, and for those we ask you to confirm that you are 18 or older. The questionnaires are meant for self-reflection. They are not medical, psychiatric, psychotherapeutic or sexological diagnostics and do not replace a consultation with a specialist. Your answers and results are stored in our database in the EU and remain available in your account under “Tests” and “History”. The AI breakdown of a result is a separate step behind explicit consent: only for it are your scores and an anonymised demographic context passed to our providers Anthropic and OpenAI (USA). Without that consent the result is still scored and shown, just without AI. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to info@harmonyoflife.eu.
How does the shop, cart and checkout work?
Shop lists collections and products. Add items to the cart (icon in the header), review the cart page, then Checkout. You receive confirmation by email. Shipping options, timelines and any boutique-specific return rules appear on the product page and in the Terms — they follow Czech/EU consumer law where applicable.
What are consultations and how do I book?
One-to-one sessions with experts are sold where packages appear in the catalogue. Start from Consultation in the header, pick a format or credit bundle, then choose an available slot. Confirmations and meeting links (commonly Zoom) are emailed and also visible under Account in the consultations / bookings area, depending on your account type.
How do offline classes and private in-person meetings work?
The board lives under “Offline classes”: live meetings with experts in Berlin, Prague and the Canary Islands. Places are limited, so book ahead; when a class is full there is a waiting list. Booking requires a community profile, and the ticket is paid on the site. Our cancellation rule: cancel more than 24 hours before the start and the ticket price is refunded; later than that the ticket is not refundable. Your statutory right of withdrawal is described in the Terms and in the withdrawal form. At the door the coach scans the QR pass from your account or enters its code manually. Practice in a pair additionally requires a completed age verification. If you need one-to-one work rather than a group, the consultations page has a request form for a private meeting: the coach proposes a time and place, and once you agree you pay and receive the address.
What are live sessions?
Live sessions are scheduled group video calls with teachers — Q&A, practice reviews or themed meetings. Open Live to see what is upcoming for courses you own. Register from the session card; reminders are emailed and a Join control becomes active shortly before the start. Recordings may appear later if the host publishes them.
What is community matching?
It is one-to-one acquaintance inside the community, not a photo feed. You need a pseudonymous profile (nickname, city, languages), a separate “Dating” consent, and at least one completed test from those used for matching — compatibility is calculated from them. Until interest is mutual, the other side only sees the match percentage, an age bracket and shared interests — no name and no contacts. Once it is mutual a chat opens; you pass on contact details yourself, and only if you decide to. The number of matches per month is limited. You can pause matching, and you can delete the dating profile on its own — your account, purchases and learning stay. Reporting and blocking are available from inside the chat.
Why is age verification needed, and how does it work?
It confirms that you are at least 18 — required for matching and for part of the offline practice. The check is run by our partner iDenfy: you photograph an identity document and take a selfie. Processing biometric data requires separate explicit consent, and you can withdraw it in the same section of your account. What we receive back is only the verification result, an age bracket and an “18+” marker — the photos themselves never reach us. There are at most three attempts per 24 hours. If the automated check is not confident, our team reviews the result — usually within one working day.
What is the Free materials section?
Under Free materials you can request selected PDFs or files. We usually ask for an email so we can deliver the download or link. These are introductory resources, not a replacement for a full paid course.
What are Blog and About for?
The Blog publishes articles from the team and guests. About explains the mission, tone of voice and background of Mysteries of Love for newcomers.
What will I see in my account?
After sign-in: overview, profile, courses (notes, bookmarks, questions, lesson quizzes, certificates), programmes, orders, payments and invoices, consultation and live bookings, your offline classes, notifications, completed psychological tests, matches and community profile, age verification. The same sidebar holds the entry points to “Become a shoot participant”, “Become an expert” and “Become a partner”. The Admin and Coach dashboards appear only if your user was granted those roles.
When do certificates appear?
For programmes that support them, a certificate is generated automatically once you reach the completion threshold shown in the account (often around 80% of lessons). Each certificate includes a public verification URL you can add to LinkedIn or your CV.
How do I work with you as an expert, shoot participant or partner?
Three entry points, all reachable from the footer and from your account. • “Become an expert” — an application to run consultations, programmes and classes. Once approved, the coach dashboard opens with your agreement and rates. • “For shoot participants” — participant registration: the questionnaire, documents, contract and shooting consents are signed in your account, and consent can be withdrawn there too. • “Partners” — the referral programme with its own dashboard: clicks, purchases, agreement, payment details, balance and payout requests. Every application is reviewed and the decision is sent to you by email.
How does the partner programme work?
Partners earn referral fees when their audience purchases through tracked links. Read the Partners page for commission structure and ethics, then email info@harmonyoflife.eu to apply.
Where are legal texts and privacy information?
Open Legal in the footer for the operator extract from the Czech Commercial Register, privacy statement, general terms, cookie policy and the EU model withdrawal form. For data-protection questions use info@harmonyoflife.eu or the operator mailbox published there.
How do I export my data, delete my account or unsubscribe?
Your account profile page holds both: a one-file export of your data and account deletion. The export also covers community data — your dating profile, consents, verification status, your class bookings and your own chat messages. Deleting the account is irreversible. Your profile, lesson notes, bookmarks, lesson questions, marketing subscription and the ability to sign in are erased. Some records stay, but no longer linked to you: orders and receipts (required by tax law), certificates, psychological test results and live-session attendance statistics. The deletion page shows both lists before you confirm. Every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link; which notifications you receive is configured in your account, and browser push notifications are only enabled with your permission. Cookies are governed by the consent banner and the Cookie policy in the footer.
Can I cancel a purchase or withdraw from the contract?
EU consumer law normally gives you 14 days to withdraw from distance contracts. Important exceptions apply — for example digital content once streaming has started with your express consent, and certain live events once performance has begun — exactly as described in the Terms of Service and the withdrawal form. If you are unsure, email info@harmonyoflife.eu with your order ID before and after the cooling-off period so we can assess your case. Programmes and offline meetings differ from a course: a programme is a mixed product (materials plus paid one-to-one sessions), and a class ticket follows our 24-hour cancellation rule. The binding conditions are in the Terms; for a specific order, write to us.
How do I register or sign in?
Email and password, or sign in with Google or Telegram. The Apple and Facebook buttons are currently hidden. If your account was created through Telegram, we ask for a working email address before your first purchase — receipts and access links are sent there. Use a strong, unique password and keep access to your mailbox secure: password resets and order confirmations go there.
How do I contact support?
Customer and technical questions about the website, courses, shop and live sessions: info@harmonyoflife.eu. Operator contacts listed in the Commercial Register (and for some formal notices): info@harmonyoflife.eu and the phone number in the site footer.
